Brash, arrogant and outspoken

My mind’s like a cluttered drawer

My mouth a vending machine

I like you and love you instantly

But you know I love myself too

We fight when that love becomes overpowering

But you know how to put me straight

I love my reflection, the way I look

No wonder the gym can’t melt the love handle

I love the way I think people see me

Charming, sweet, a darling

And I can’t hear of any other way

But I know you know who I am, right?

Won’t hurt a fly, won’t turn you away

Won’t be mean or petty or indifferent

Won’t judge you and will never say “I told you so”

Will laugh with you and never at you

So you know me and love me anyway

Even though you are one in a million

As long as you know me

I will be fine…right?
